Meet the Heart Behind It Takes a Village

Why This Exists

There is a reason people say it takes a village.

Because raising babies, running a home, keeping up with laundry, planning meals, managing schedules, preparing for new seasons of life — it was never meant to fall on one person alone.

I created It Takes a Village after seeing how many families in Missoula were quietly overwhelmed. Loving moms. Hard-working parents. Capable families. Just stretched thin.

Support should not feel like a luxury.
It should feel normal.

And asking for help should feel safe.

What Makes This Different

It Takes a Village is not a cleaning franchise.
It is not a rotating team of strangers.
It is not a corporate service.

It is personal, in-home support built around real life.

I step into homes with discretion, respect, and practical help — whether that means folding laundry, organizing a nursery, prepping meals in your kitchen, running returns, stocking an Airbnb, or helping a new mom reset after bringing baby home.

Every home is different.
Every season is different.
Support should reflect that.

Rooted in Missoula

This business proudly serves families throughout Missoula, Lolo, Frenchtown, Bonner, East Missoula, and surrounding communities.

Montana families are strong and self-reliant — but strength doesn’t mean doing everything alone.

Sometimes strength looks like building a village.

If you’ve been thinking you “should” be able to manage it all, consider this your permission to let someone else carry part of the load.

Less pressure.
More presence.
More time with your babies.

That’s the heart behind It Takes a Village.
